Mavis CW is an internationally published British photographer born in Taiwan. She is a graduate of Imperial College London.
As a self-taught photographer based in London, Mavis specialises in street photography, documentary photography, editorial photography and commercial photography. Alongside her digital work, she home-processes and scans her own 35mm and 120 film.
Mavis’ work is influenced by Joel Meyerowitz, Garry Winogrand, William Klein, Robert Frank and Fred Herzog. Her photography explores and documents daily life and people using streets as her visual language to express emotions.
Mavis enjoys partnering with companies and PR/creative agencies to bring their ideas to life. She also offers limited edition street photography art prints to art collectors, companies, restaurants, interior designers around the world.
